Credit Check - Client Communication Briefing

May 2005

As of March 1st, residents of Wisconsin are able to check their credit reports at no cost. We encourage our clients to make this a part of their annual habits to protect and safeguard themselves against identity theft.

In previous Client Communication Briefings (see the November 2004 Briefing on our website at www.toyourwealth.com), we talked about how to proactively prevent identity theft. It is also important to review your credit history to see how successful you have been. In addition, it is worthwhile to check your history if you are planning to make any significant purchases in the near future which may require a credit check such as purchasing a new vehicle or applying for a mortgage.

Some of the areas to review on the credit report are open lines of credit, missed payments, and personal information such as addresses and social security numbers. If anything appears unusual or incorrect, you should contact the three credit reporting companies:

www.experian.com

www.transunion.com

www.equifax.com

To check your credit at no cost, please visit the following website:

We’re available to assist you in reviewing or obtaining your credit history. If there’s anything else we can do, please do not hesitate to contact us. It is our objective to deliver peace of mind and assist you with meeting your goals.

Sincerely,

The Financial Service Group, Inc. Team
