Client Communication Briefing Important Information regarding TD
Ameritrade Clearing Conversion |
|
The TD
Ameritrade clearing conversion was successfully completed this weekend. All accounts have been migrated from the
legacy TD Waterhouse system to the new TD Ameritrade clearing platform. Your
account numbers have been changed to replace the branch prefix number from a
5 to a 9, and a 0 has been added to the end of the account number. For example, if your existing account
number was 501-12345, your new account number would now be 901-123450. You will
receive two account statements for each account for the month of May, both in
the same envelope. One statement will
be for May 1st – May 11th and will show a zero balance
at the end of the period. The second
statement will be for May 11th – May 31st and will
reflect your new account number and your current balances as of the end of
May. There is
no effect on your check writing privileges due to the conversion or account
number change. You can continue to use
your existing checks until they are gone.
We will
continue to keep you updated of any other changes that may occur. Please contact me if you have any questions
or concerns. |
